A Letter....

Dear maternity jeans manufacturer's:

Just because my stomach is the size of a ginormous melon (umm, make that two melons) requiring much room and flexibility in the waist of my pants, that does NOT mean that I need an overabundant amount of material in the "seat" area on my pants. This ultimately results in a saggy style that is not very flattering - and at this point in my pregnancy, I need at least one area to be flattering. C'mon and help a lady out.

Awesome. Unfortunately, my caboose seems to keep up with my waistline when I'm pregnant...

I know how you feel! But you look fantastic, so don't worry about the tush!

I loved your dress yesterday. You look great. Loved this letter. I totally remember feeling the same way!

oh, the dreaded pregnancy pants...you'd think after thousands of years of women enduring pregnancy, they would have the clothing figured out, huh!

my advice? [even though you didn't ask for it?] wear skirts. They're feminine and comfortable and no baggy tush to worry about.

Can you please add my name to this letter? I'm sitting in a pair of maternity jeans right at this very moment that are sagging in the tush area. So annoying.

I second Marilyn's suggestion for skirts, and if I had any more than the one that Karen gave me, I'd wear them every single day. They are heaven sent!

Oh, Sarah. Soon. Just think how comfortable those loose jeans are. It's a welcome feeling when you try to squish back in your pre-baby jeans. :)

Oh pregnancy jeans...how I hate you. Isn't it bad enough that I pee myself when I sneeze? why does it have to look like I had an accident in my drawers like a 18 month old in a saggy diper?
We will all continue to tolerate you though, because the end result is too precious to pass up in account of vanity!

my prob w/ preg. jeans was having to yank them back up on my hips 1000 times a day...no exaggeration. it was either that or be gangsta.
