On Vacation
We are on our fifth day of our vacation at the beach and it is flying by too fast. We are having an absolute blast here and enjoying our time together. I think in the last few days the kids have had more ice cream, cotton candy, and pop than I thought humanly possible. Their teeth could very well fall out on our way home from this trip. The weather has been beautiful and we have even gotten some hot summer days. In fact earlier this week, we all got sunburned. At the coast! That is something I never thought would happen. We'll be coming home Sunday and it is approaching all too soon!

Sounds fun!! A sunburn is really unexpected. I hope the weather is that nice when we head that way.
I am so glad you are enjoying yourselves. We are sweating it out in the 100+ degree temps that haven't broken all week! Being near the water helps as we learned on Tuesday, so we will be heading out on the boat again this evening and hopefully tomorrow too! Have a safe trip back and soak up every lovely minute you have left!!!
It is surprising to hear that you got sunburned at the coast! That never happens! I'm glad you're all having such a great time!!
wait til you get home sarah...it is crazy hot...even on the river! no place to cool off except inside on days like this. be glad you're not having august babies :) i'm wondering if my ac will ever shut off....
