Little Busy Body

My little Morgan man is a whirlwind of activity. He doesn't like TV, he doesn't like to sit still for long - he has to be doing something "interesting" at all times. He is super fast, and super stealth like. You have to always be on your A-game to keep up with him. These are just a few of the things I have found the Morgster doing in the last week or so:

-Hiding behind the computer chair with my purse in his lap eating my cinnamon lip gloss and chewing about ten pieces of gum.

-Sitting up on the kitchen counter after putting the sink plug in and flooding water from the kitchen sink all over the counters and floor.

-Scooping out handfuls of potting soil from my beautiful plumeria plant I finally got to bloom (that my sister-in-law brought me back from Hawaii) and then a few days later snapping off the top part of the plant.

-Lifting up the piano cover and playing with chocolate covered fingers.

-"Pretending" to change one of Kendle's old dolls diapers and pulling out about 40 wipes in the process.

-Laying down on his belly to lick up some of his Go-Gurt that squished out onto the patio.

-Climbing up on the kitchen counter to get a screw driver so he can "fix" his toys (that need new batteries).

-Pulling one of our bar stools over to the pantry and climbing up to get the candy bucket on the top shelf.

-In the process of trying to "help" sweep the floor, he knocked off one of my favorite pictures from it's ledge and shattered the glass.

These are just a smattering of the things he does to keep our life "interesting" around here. It's a good thing that he has so many other redeeming qualities and is so darn cute. I've never met another little boy that likes to help as much as he does. He helps me clean, pick up toys, do laundry, and do the dishes. He is also very particular about not wanting to go around with sticky hands and likes to be clean for the most part - he likes to have a napkin to wipe his hands with at dinner. One funny thing he has started doing lately is if he gets wet from playing outside or washing up, he takes off his wet clothes and runs to the laundry room and puts them in the dryer. I swear I did not even teach him that. If I give him a washcloth he will sit and wipe the counter for me or go pretend to wash the walls or something else. Maybe deep down he knows he has to make up for all of the other shenanigans he pulls on his mom!

It's hard to stay mad when you're looking at a smiley little face like this:

This reminds me of my life. Always on the go. Love how he manages to grin and keep on going! He is a little busy body, and I'm sure he has plenty of tricks to teach those twin brothers that are coming!

Oh, Sarah, these are great. I especially love the one about Morgan eating everything he could in your purse. I bet you can't wait for him to teach his brothers all his tricks. The three of them will work together to triple time!

He is so darn cute. I can just see him giving you that little grin every time he pulls off something "interesting". It's hard to get mad at a face like that!
