Almost here........

I can always tell when it is getting close to school being out and full on summer is about to break loose.

It gets harder and harder to get Kendle out of bed in the morning and she is usually my early riser.

The kids want to stay up later and later "because it's not dark yet".

I start getting the urge to go outside and work in the yard early in the morning.

Cooking dinner starts to be more of a chore and the grill starts becoming mandatory almost every night.

I start feeling restless - restless to get out of town and go somewhere.

I crave picnics and afternoon drives where we slurp slushies and milkshakes.

We start sitting outside at night and watch the kids play and ride bikes.

Schedules get more relaxed and most afternoons include running through the sprinkler and popsicles.

The dress code always includes shorts and flip flops.

We begin to make plans to pack in as many fun things as we can.
