Play Ball

Craziness officially begins today around our house. Kendle starts tee-ball this afternoon. Luckily their games will only be held on Monday evenings and early Saturday mornings. That's a pretty sweet schedule for the most part. It would be great if there was at least one person on her team that she knows - last year she didn't know anyone, but luckily she is pretty outgoing and makes friends easily. Good thing she played ball with her cousins a few weeks ago or else she'd be really rusty. I love how cute all of the kids look in their little uniforms and hats that sit on their head like Elmer Fudd. Last year Kendle really liked playing catcher, that is a good position to keep kids' attention in the game.

Well, now I just need to go dig out her mitt, cleats, sweats, helmet..................

*We found out at practice last night she's the only girl on her team. REALLY little league people, you thought that would be an ok thing to do? I bet we will play other teams that will have like four girls on it. I am a little ticked off about that. (she still hit better than most of the boys last night though - he, he)

How fun! We've been on the crazy train for the past month with soccer. I'm sure Kendle will make friends easily because she is such a fun, spunky girl. Good luck with everything!

Sounds like fun, and that really is a good schedule. We're all over the place right now with stuff. Spring is definitely in the air!

Baseball will be taking over our lives for the next 6 weeks too. It's so awesome to me, how kids can totally be OK with not knowing anyone on their teams. Tyler's team is the same way, and it doesn't phase him one bit. Did you find all of her gear???
